Many agencies have projects and initiatives that for only a specific duration of time. Cloud Computing allows an agency to rapidly procure the IT resources required to meet the projects need and use those resources for the duration of the project. Resources are released at the conclusion of the project without the need to acquire and maintain the costly IT resources permanently.
